Tick Tock | Learning to See the Glass Half Full
https://facingreality123.wordpress.com/2012/10/24/tick-tock
Learning to See the Glass Half Full. Taking time to smell the roses…. So despite my previous post about trying to keep a healthy balance between dreams and reality, I find myself floundering. Instead of focusing all of my energy on the work at hand, my mind is drifting. Drifting onto thoughts of higher education, of starting my own business. Causing me to minimise my work email and browse the web for inspiration. I felt on top of the world! And now a month later? And so I sit here, watching the clock.

Learning to See the Glass Half Full. Taking time to smell the roses…. Hope and dreams. Why do we as human beings always hope for more than what we have? Are we ever really content? It’s part of our nature to want to have that euphoric feeling of achievement. And so we set ourselves goals, we dream. I can’t believe I’m quoting from Harry Potter, but it does seem fitting. It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live. J.K Rowling – H arry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. Eating a gourmet meat pie.

Learning to See the Glass Half Full. Taking time to smell the roses…. Why am I so interested in some girls trip to Paris when I haven’t actually spoken to her in years? I’m starting to think it’s an unhealthy habit. Why do I waste my time looking at my friends profiles when I could easily pick up the phone and actually talk to them? And what would mean more? A few typed words on their profile or an actual effort to have a conversation. Where are you going? Always wanting a game. View from the balcony.

Let's talk. Let's seek our true answers. Sunday, February 12, 2017. What's a blog anyway? The concept of a blog is a fascinating one. It is a most influential, yet intimate platform for the modern man. In it one writes material that can often be personal, yet often intended/expected to be read by total strangers. It has this curious effect of both informing the uninitiated of the most private details of one's life, while often providing simultaneously a cathartic effect for the author. There is a unique ...

real life is such a fucking nightmare.
Real life is such a fucking nightmare. April is “Autism Awareness Month”, so here are a few reminders for you to keep in mind:. Autism Speaks is a hate group. The reasoning behind “Light It Up Blue” (that there are more autistic boys than girls) stems from a tendency in doctors to base their autism diagnoses on stereotypes and sometimes refuse to diagnose girls. Most autistic people don’t want a “cure” for autism and don’t support Autism Speaks. Autism is not a disease. Autism is not a tragedy. I’d...

Learning to See the Glass Half Full. Taking time to smell the roses…. One day, I’m going to be a crazy dog lady. Facing Relationships
Modern Solutions for Age Old Problems. Saturday, March 9, 2013. Something I Gotta Do! It’s something I gotta do. It started as an idea rolling around in my head and I couldn’t get away from it. Finally I accepted it as something that maybe God wanted me to do. I still don’t really know why, maybe I will never know, and maybe God doesn’t have anything to do with it. And that’s ok too. So I did, or I have, or I am… going for it. I met many professionals who loved the sample chapters and cheered me on.
