Lee's US Govt Blog: March 2012
http://lee-us-government.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Lee's US Govt Blog. Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Price tag of a criminal. No one looks at the price tag of a criminal. I came across an editorial in the Austin American Statesmen. We might pay taxes to take care of these inmates, but I would rather pay a few dollars then to have a serial killer living next to me. I do hope that this action will succeed and be recognized as a both logical and wise decision. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Price tag of a criminal. View my complete profile. Shake Up the System.

As Our Knowledge Grows, Our Ignorance Unfolds: Pharmacists' fear of Medicaid expansion
http://cambridgen.blogspot.com/2012/04/pharmacists-fear-of-medicaid-expansion.html
As Our Knowledge Grows, Our Ignorance Unfolds. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Pharmacists' fear of Medicaid expansion. Recently, state lawmakers approved pharmaceutical changes in hopes of saving Texas millions of dollars. Despite the fear of many pharmacists throughout Texas, the state pushed for the expansion of prescription drugs to appear on the Medicaid managed care plan. This change will most likely cut the pharmacies reimbursements, and eventually some will be forced to shut down. Blue Living In Red.

Lost In Translation: May 2012

Friday, May 11, 2012. How Much Are You Willing To Pay? The cost of getting a decent education and job (in the future) is getting worse every year, an issue my colleague has recently recognized in one of her blog posts. Overall, I think my fellow student, Kiran Azad, is spot-on in her position on the issue. One of the few parts I disagree with is her claim that “ no one actually talks about the actual problem, which is the cost of education.”. The latter solution may only make a difference locally, though.

Lee's US Govt Blog: May 2012
http://lee-us-government.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Lee's US Govt Blog. Friday, May 11, 2012. I do agree with Mr. Nguyen in his post about Austin's population growth. Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Should the drinking age be lowered again? In 1984 Texas changed the alcohol drinking age limit from 21 to 18 and then raised back to 21 in 1986. So why the change? Texas raised the drinking age to cut federal highway funds. Many can argue that this act saved many lives, but who can decided what age you are able to take responsibilities of adulthood? Shake Up the System.

Lost In Translation: Changing The Legal Age Limit
http://lostintranslationmw.blogspot.com/2012/04/will-you-just-grow-up.html
Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Changing The Legal Age Limit. My classmate, Jason Ebeling, wrote a post about raising the legal drinking age to 25, titled “ Legal Drinking Age 21 or 25? 8221; He proves a valid point that some. If it’s a story like the one Ebeling wrote about, you might believe too much of what you hear from the media. Most of the time young people drink, situations similar to what happens when their older counterparts drink occur, with a little less maturity. I also noticed that in Ebeling̵...

As Our Knowledge Grows, Our Ignorance Unfolds. Friday, May 11, 2012. Stage 8: Childcare Surveillance. Childcare Regulations tend to stay off of most of our radars unless you are a parent or have an interest in the child development field. After reading Olive's blog. About Texas enforcing a surveillance camera in the preschool room, I realized it should be a topic more people discuss in order to get different views and thoughts.
