Fig Cups | sweetnsavoryfood

Just another WordPress.com site. September 13, 2013. In the same area at the store where the goat cheese was located was a package of pre-sliced prosciutto, and the idea was born. Make prosciutto cups add the cheese and top with figs….delicious. A few notes after tasting… add more cheese and fig. Also a nice balsamic reduction drizzled over the top would not be out-of-place. And it matches well with a tawny port. View all posts by stephslyter →. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. You are commenting ...

Just another WordPress.com site. My San Francisco Sourdough. Fig Cups →. June 17, 2013. This was a very delicious salad. I am taking care of the garden at our church. We have solved the problem of deer grazing on our green goodies. I picked some spring mix of lettuce, and a few strawberries and thought about this for lunch. The dressing is super easy with a blender or food processor. 6 medium strawberries, washed and quartered. 3 T red wine vinegar. 2 cups canola oil. Salt and pepper to taste. You are co...

Just another WordPress.com site. Http:/ resource.mccneb.edu/bistro/season.htm. Here is a link to order the cookbook I helped write. It was made completely by the students of Metropolitan community college. The proceeds of this book is for a scholarship in honor of Brandon, a student that attended the college, but was in a motorcycle accident that took his life. His family in cooperation with the school came up with the idea for this book. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Just another WordPress.com site. I'm a wife, mother, pastry chef and amatuer gardner. I travel as much as possible, can what I grow, and taste as many new things as possible. September 13, 2013. This appetizer was inspired by some fig and balsamic vinegar goat cheese. I have a small fig tree that I absolutely love. It produces about 25 figs a year right now. I’m hoping that it will continue to grow, but Iowa winters … Continue reading →. June 17, 2013. My San Francisco Sourdough. June 16, 2013. I love to...

Just another WordPress.com site. Newer posts →. February 18, 2013. Who can resist the creamy custard and crunching topping of creme brulee or the soft and chewy center of a French Macaroon with a smooth chocolate ganache filling. These two desserts were ment to be made together. Why you ask? 2 cups heavy cream. 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped. 1/2 cup sugar, plus 6 T for sprinkling (although I like a more coarse sugar for this). 5 large egg yolks. Whisk together 1/2 cup sugar and the yolks in a bowl la...

San Francisco Sourdough | sweetnsavoryfood
https://sweetnsavorydotnet.wordpress.com/2013/05/25/san-francisco-sourdough
Just another WordPress.com site. Sweet and Sour Pork. My San Francisco Sourdough →. May 25, 2013. On our vacation to San Francisco we encountered the Boudin Sourdough Bread Company. They have a walk through tour where you can watch them making and shaping the bread. They also have a basket ride for their bread that travels the whole store and stops by the counter for the attendant to restock. Pretty clever I thought. View all posts by stephslyter →. Just another WordPress.com site. Stawberry Vinaigrette →. My San Francisco Sourdough. June 16, 2013. I finally have my computer back so I can blog again! Our vacation in SFO inspired me to make this bread. I have kept my sourdough starter for about 7 years now and am always looking for ways to use it. I did a previous post on sourdough english muffins and bread where you can get the recipes, but just wanted to give you a close up of the different shapes and cuts that you can make your bread. My San Franc...
