The New Australian: June 2010
http://thenewaustralian.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Going on a Jet Plane. Fa la la la la. Okay, so I'm not going on a jet and I won't be gone for long, but I'm headed off on a little holiday tomorrow. The Bloke has work in Tasmania, and I'm tagging along for the ride. :). Short trip, but I've wanted to go to Tassie for a long time. I'll take what I can get. Labels: Day in the Life. The New Australian: September 2010
http://thenewaustralian.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Same Old, Same Old. Melbourne is doing its usual rain, sun, rain, sun, hail, rain, rain in the sunshine, overcast stuff today. At least the brief periods of sunshine mean that spring is trying to, well, spring. I think I'm getting a little boring here. Maybe because my fourth year anniversary of arriving in Australia is coming up. I'm so used to the darn place that I'm not sure what to write about anymore. Eh, who am I kidding? There will always be weird things to discover in this country. 1 Call me Ishm...

The New Australian: 30 Days of Truth - Day 30
http://thenewaustralian.blogspot.com/2010/11/30-days-of-truth-day-30.html
30 Days of Truth - Day 30. Day 30 → A letter to yourself, tell yourself EVERYTHING you love about yourself. As I look at this prompt, I can't tell if this is going to be a long post or a short one. Let's get to it, shall we? I love your enthusiasm. It's an enthusiasm that sometimes gets you in trouble in one way or another, but is something no one has ever been able to take away from you. That love for life is what you'll take with you to the end. Be well. Do well. 30 Days of Truth. If you know of a grea...

The New Australian: August 2010
http://thenewaustralian.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Life is weird sometimes. After finally mustering up the courage and deciding that I was in the right place to do it, I finally sent a letter to my eldest brother. I told him the truth. I told him about the stuff I was going through - namely at the hands of the woman who gave birth to me - and how I left because I no longer felt safe. And, having finally done that, another voice from the past has come back into my life. Labels: Day in the Life. Friday Funny - Kitties! Public Transport and the Introvert.

The New Australian: 30 Days of Truth - Day 29
http://thenewaustralian.blogspot.com/2010/11/30-days-of-truth-day-29.html
30 Days of Truth - Day 29. Day 29 → Something you hope to change about yourself. And why. Physically, I want to lose weight. Not just for my health, not just to conceive but also to show myself that I am more than my past and that I can do it. *muscle pose*. Mentally, I want to get past my hangups so I can fully live life and do everything I want to do with it. I want to be brave and effervescent, smart and yet not cynical and just a plain lover of life. 30 Days of Truth. Labels: 30 Days of Truth. 30 Day...

The New Australian: 30 Days of Truth - Day 28
http://thenewaustralian.blogspot.com/2010/11/30-days-of-truth-day-28.html
30 Days of Truth - Day 28. Day 28 → What if you were pregnant or got someone pregnant, what would you do? Well, if I got someone pregnant, I would have to laugh off my rear end and enlist myself as a miracle freak of nature. ;). Oh, and I'd tell The Bloke first, face to face. 30 Days of Truth.
