In Africa there are still thousands of slaves being beat and raped on a regular basis. Why does this still happen and more importantly why does no one know about it. There is no slave trade in Africa, no slave markets. Instead slavery has been perfected to an art form. The BBC has spoken out about this and so has NPR and I think it's time others spread the word.

Curiosity Crashed The Geek. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. And We're Back to Windows. I love EeeBuntu. That said, I'm letting Jas borrow my lappy for AIT and he insists on Windows so we're back to Windows again. The $74.00 Chinese battery I mentioned in an earlier post lasted about 8 solid hours under linux with WiFi on and lasts around 9 1/2 on windows so not a whole lot of difference.
