Another three days of unexpected meetings with exceptionally friendly people and Folk East continues to evolve, developing it’s own special atmosphere year by year. Thanks to John for inviting us once more to be a part of this ever growing and unique event. An unexpected and mentally reverberating sight was the appearance of the old Albion dome, with a beautiful new cover. Renovated and put up by Hal, son of Gil. We were rather taken aback by the wa...

The East Anglian Fairs 1972-1986. The Weird and Wonderful Wood Fair 2015. 8220;Roll up, Roll up ….”. When we first thought of a travelling exhibition, the main idea was to use it to gather memorabilia, like casting a net. 183; smickelgrim blog. Friday, 6 July 2012. Wagon Steps and Damp Footprints of June. June has crept damply by, some dream-thing leaving its wet footprints on our floors. Last you heard, preparations were under way for the Tales from the Wagon Steps. Storytelling fund-raiser at Stone Lane Gardens. In which myself, Rima.
