Faith and Folly

Thursday, August 6, 2015. So I've been contemplating our identity as sons and daughters and my thoughts lead me back to the garden. I do not hold to the belief that sin seperates us from God. God runs to sinners, we see this in the life of Jesus.the perfect reflection of our Father. Separation is a westernized idea. Sin is missing the mark. What mark? The mark of being truly ourselves. Our sinful behaviors are simply symptoms of lack of understanding who we are. The lens our Father saw us through. So for...

Faith and Folly: Cause I did...

http://www.faithandfolly.blogspot.com/2015/04/cause-i-did.html

Sunday, April 19, 2015. The title to this blog is a phrase I used as a child anytime I was questioned for my actions. I'm not quite sure why I never bothered to explain myself when I had done something wrong or just out of the ordinary, but I didn't mind acknowledging the fact that I did indeed do it. This is where I stand again today. Why did I start questioning things about God, church, faith, or religion? Why do I question the way the world is seen through the stereotypical "christian" eye?

Faith and Folly: April 2015

http://www.faithandfolly.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Saturday, April 25, 2015. There was a time in my life when this is what my walk with God felt like. A mystical game of Marco Polo. I would seek, and search, or press in, all in the name of quiet time or devotional time. I would cry Marco with a drive to be at more prayer meetings, more bible studies, or any extra curricular "church" meeting I could attend. In this, I would wait for Him to say Polo either by another prophetic word or just a good ole fashion slobber knocker of a meeting! Why do I question ...

Faith and Folly: May 2015

http://www.faithandfolly.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html

Sunday, May 31, 2015. So for a while I've been contemplating holiness. Mostly, how the western church has turned it into a list of "do nots" and sin management. However, in my contemplation I've come to what I feel is a better understanding of what it means to be holy. Sunday, May 10, 2015. Living right or righteous? On top of dealing with me everyday! Because they've always been in good relationship with one another. We were created for right relationship and Jesus came to reveal their desire for re...

http://robertsonshome.com/2013/09

Monthly Archives: September 2013. Seasons Change – absolute delight, terror and hope. September 15, 2013. We closed on our house June 21. It’s been a whirlwind of activity in unpacking and planting our large garden. We also ventured into a new season for our family. We also decided it was time to no longer prevent pregnancies…. bring on the babies! Friday finally came, and we were hopeful still for good news. More poking around internally and no heartbeat. Our doctor shared the options. We co...We attend...

Bring Your Everything - Robertson's Home

http://robertsonshome.com/2015/04/bring-your-everything

April 21, 2015. Just 2.5 weeks before WHO Koinonia Spring 2015. Began, we lost our third consecutive baby. Still in our grieving phase, it was time to begin preparing for the Koinonia event. I knew because of the state we were in how very important preparation would be. Can I tell you how thankful I am to have the support and help of the a/v crew? I am so thankful too for the work that Wes and Brian did with the cameras on fairly short notice. For that, we had a person able to get shots and angles th...

http://robertsonshome.com/2015/02/a-sigh-of-relief

A Sigh of Relief. February 24, 2015. Sharing the big news about Baby Robertson’s anticipated arrival. Was a huge leap of faith. Having endured 2 miscarriages where the babies stopped growing at 6.5 weeks, announcing a healthy dot at 7w1d was no small thing. In my head, thoughts lingered that both babies actually grew beyond 6.5w and began to shrink. What if that 7w1d baby did the same thing? Then Friday, February 20th, I had my final appointment. We saw this:. And wow have I. I haven’t had many...Enter y...

Monthly Archives: July 2014. Changing Yet Remaining the Same. July 3, 2014. Change is in the air. It isn’t as drastic as moving, or changing jobs. It is less obvious. The internal shift is happening again. Nearly a decade ago my world was flipped around when I attended a few personal development workshops facilitated by Klemmer and Associates. God is calling me to mature beyond this place. It’s time to get moving. When I Feel Overwhelmed. July 2, 2014. While I don’t want people revealing their most...

Knowing is not the same as, nor does it require learning. To know is simply to have a personal experience with the matter. To learn is to acquire more information that is assimilated into how we understand a matter. I will be exalted in the earth! Http:/ bible.com/8/psa.46.10.amp. Subscribe to Blog via Email. It wasn’t intentional, but I wasn’t on the radar of those that I wanted to have include me into their lives. At what point do I need to put myself on their radar, and at what point is it just careless of the other to not even notice that I’m standing right here in front of them? Faith and Fly Balls. Love is the most important thing in the world, but baseball is pretty good too." - Greg, age 8. Saturday, January 24, 2009. Of Gold, Gooses and Eggs.
