I have had several conversations this week and one question has come up three times. People ask, With so many opportunities how do I know where God wants me to serve? I have had several conversations this week and one question has come up three times. People ask, With so many opportunities how do I know where God wants me to serve? The Life of a Church Planter. August 16, 2016. Bring’em In… Build’em Up… Send’em Out! You see, when I heard Neal say, “The local church must be focused on 3 things: Bring’em In, Build’em Up and Send’em Out”. I was rattled to the core. Have you ever heard so few of words put together that were more on point for what God has called us to be focused on? I haven’t…. God had assembled a core group of approximately 35 people and we began meeting for weekly worship services at the Morgan County High School.

The Life of a Church Planter. January 9, 2017. Night To Shine 2017. I would like to answer a few questions about this event and why this is more than just a Fusion Church event. What is Night To Shine all about? Why did Fusion Church apply to host Night To Shine? We see an opportunity for not only our church but for Christians to come together to provide a wonderful event for people with special needs, their families and/or their caregivers. Anyone that signs up at www.fusionchurchmadison.org. The event ...

Faith Family Frailty of Mind. Life is an adventure. Sometimes you need to be crazy to survive! The Legend of the Meatfloat. When I was in college I worked for a brief time at the ARC of Westmoreland. One of my duties was to make dinner for the individuals I worked with when I was on shift. It was here I first made my BBQ Meatloaf. The ladies loved it and I made it often. I never had an issue making a meatloaf. We refer to the sad excuse of a liquefied meatloaf as a “meatfloat”. The book is set in the Dom...

RIP Pop You’ve found your independence! This entry was posted in Uncategorized. July 3, 2014. Not only did my son bring this precious woman into our family he brought a whole crew of family members who could easily fill up half the Jaguar stadium on Christmas Eve. He married into a large family and after living in a small family all his life he was blown away by the pure size of his wife’s family tree. The heads of the family were Grandma and Pop. It was his identity outside the big family he and Grandma...

Green Fuel
Saturday, June 18, 2011. If there is one thing that everyone needs to understand, it is proper energy usage. This is because improper use of energy could lead to a lot of problems both small-scale and large-scale. At homes, it could increase your electricity bills, and in a much larger scale, it leads to the burning of more fossil fuels.Read more on renewable energies here. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Faith Family and Friends. Monday, October 5, 2015. Book Review: Raising Boys By Design. Having just studied the function and design of the human brain, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review the book, Raising Boys by Design, by Gregory L Jantz, PhD. Many times the words on the page rang true, especially during the discussion of gray and white matter circuitry areas of the brain. Raising Boys By Design, doesn’t just read like a textbook, but rather transition’s into a how. With a roadmap for suc...

Faith Family Friends 5
Saturday, August 1, 2009. I always love the opportunity to help in Bible School. I again helped with the 5th and 6th grade group this year with Jennifer Neal. We had anywhere from 17-23 students every day just in our group. How fun it is to get to tell children about the love of Jesus and how he can change your life, then watch as they respond! Each day started in the sanctuary with the pledges, prayer, offering, video, prizes, and a few bible school songs. Wish I would have had the camera that day!

Faith, Family, Friends, and Football
Faith, Family, Friends, and Football. Thoughts on the four things that shape my life as a Catholic Man, Fiance', Son, Older Brother, Uncle, Buddy, and Student of the Game. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Thoughts on the summer thus far. No real updates on the Colts right now. Peyton made it to camp today, but his knee is still immobilized. I wish that I could be able to go see the Colts in training camp. One of the sacrifices. Mitch was talking to me today about the new role he has taken on in Student Life at BSU.
