Wild Honey: July 2012
http://whitswildhoney.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 11, 2012. What's corny and cheesy and delicious all over? There are many blessings found in living in a small town. This week, that blessing was fresh-picked-from-the-garden corn. Last night, I used some of it in a simple pasta with shrimp, tomatoes and white wine. Tonight, I decided to take those same veggies and make something entirely different: roasted veggie enchiladas! Get ready for a sensational seasonal supper, y'all! Roast at 400ºF/204ºC for about 15 minutes. Then add about 1 1/2...

stillpoint: Into the Silence
http://stillpointinchaos.blogspot.com/2009/06/into-silence.html
Finding center in the midst of chaos. Thursday, June 25, 2009. Here are some closing thoughts and pictures (for now) on this border journey. Today I enter into a silent retreat at a hermitage in Colorado where I am choosing not to be "plugged in" for a few days. I will take my experiences with me for deeper reflection and prayer. Though I experienced the harshness of the desert landscape, I also witnessed her beauty. The paradox! The colors of the sunset were amazing each night. Showing Up To The Moment.
