                        True: Non-Fiction
http://faithhopeandcourage.blogspot.com/2013/01/non-fiction.html
True to myself: faith in my abilities, hope for the future and courage to try. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. I have a confession: I don’t really like to read fiction anymore. My life is too real to read anything that isn't. When I would read fiction, it was usually a let down at the end because there is no Hogwarts, or prince charming, or dragon to battle. My escape ended. I was back where I was: the real world. I recently read Tina Fey’s Bossy Pants. And now Michael J. Fox’s Always Looking Up.

True to myself: faith in my abilities, hope for the future and courage to try. Sunday, February 23, 2014. Do you ever feel like right when you get a good handle on life something else gets thrown in and suddenly life is too much to handle? Today, that something was my two-year old son. By this point, my oldest who is five started crying as well. And I said to him, “What do you want me to do? Take him home so he doesn’t learn anything? So who is there for me? Craft Sew Sweetly: September 2013
http://craftsewsweetly.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Hooded Towel Tutorial and Other Stuff. Ok, so I'm sorry I've been a slacker, but not really. Life is good and busy and sometimes it is just better to live life! D As promised, here is a much needed catch-up post. First off: Pallet bookshelves! I had so much fun making these! It was my first time using spray paint. A little sad, maybe. Fun? This was a work in progress picture. But I love them! Next up: Hooded Towels! Step 1: I folded my hooded towel over on the short ends and...
Craft Sew Sweetly: February 2014

Sunday, February 23, 2014. Sorry I've been a little MIA lately. I'll sum up the last few months. Winter has been hard. Our house has become too small for two active little boys, and there isn't much to do outside in single digit weather. We haven't had a lot of snow to play in either. After baby girl was born, I refashioned a dress into a nursing top by adding part of a tank top underneath. That's all the crafting I have been doing. Well, that's it for me. Are you doing anything fun? Links to this post.
Craft Sew Sweetly: March 2013
http://craftsewsweetly.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 3, 2013. Have you ever been to the Make it and Love it blog by Ashley? I'm pretty sure I check for new posts multiple times a week. Recently she had a post with fifty things to do/make for kids. They were all tutorials that she had already done. I've done a few of them, and found a good idea for one more: a Bathtoy bag! And my bathtub thanks me for it! No longer, is the bathtub in the main bathroom covered in toys. I found the tutorial here. Next up, I think is a Hooded Towel!
Craft Sew Sweetly: October 2013
http://craftsewsweetly.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 19, 2013. When I bought this fabric, many months ago before I knew I was having a girl, I knew that one day I would have a girl and I needed to make a bulletin board/photo board with it. It was so stinkin' cute. I haven't jumped on the owl bandwagon/craze but these owls were so cute in the remnant bin that I had to take them home. Step 3: The fun part! I started with the corners that were farthest apart and stapled on the back. If you want to measure how far apart your ribbon is, fe...
Craft Sew Sweetly: August 2013
http://craftsewsweetly.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 29, 2013. 8220;It is my business to create” –William Blake as quoted in “P.S. I love you. I have this innate desire to create, and I think many if not all people do. For some it’s the perfect code in a program, for others it’s beautiful music or a perfect pot roast. I never liked math and I’ve never been told that my singing is amazing. I like to cook and I think I’m doing a pretty good job at creating people out of little people. PS (you thought I was going to say I love you) Stay tuned!
Craft Sew Sweetly: December 2012
http://craftsewsweetly.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 30, 2012. It is true, I have caught the sewing bug. Just this week I decided to take a break from sewing and ended up making a new skirt from a pair of my husband's shorts! But more on that later. :D. So a friend of mine wanted me to make three and a half Wee Mouse Tin House's for her kids for Christmas. It took me a while because I only work at night after the kids are in bed. But here they are! They turned out really cute and I learned how to embroider a little! Links to this post.

Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Snails and Puppy Dog Tails. I tried something new lately and made tie onesies! They are so adorable! My friend A showed me the tutorial from crapi'vemade. P.S. I love that blog name. I think it's hilarious. My onesies didn't turn out perfectly, but it's the thought that counts, right? So, I can't figure out how to get two pictures on the same line. Here are my two oneises I have made so far, and I love them! They are a cinch! November 28, 2013 at 6:21 AM. You are so sweet!

http://craftsewsweetly.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 13, 2013. So, I haven't been doing my normal crafty things lately. I'm a little scared to saw my pallet and I need a different sewing needle to finish my hooded towel. Boo. But my friend C showed me how to bead a few weeks ago! And here are the things I've made from left to right are oldest to newest creations. I don't know a whole lot about beading yet, but I have always wanted to do it! And now I am! If you'd like me to share my tidbits of knowledge, I would be glad to! Together, we hav...

Faith, Hope and Family ~ Raising a Family; Leaning on Jesus
Faith, Hope and Family. Raising a Family; Leaning on Jesus. To plan my day. January 11, 2017. We used to live in a rural setting on the outside of town. I had to plan 20 minutes to drive anywhere. A thirty minute shopping trip put me away from the house for an hour and a half. Needless to say, I didn’t run to the store in the middle of the afternoon to […]. Faith, hope, family, and love. August 11, 2014. Our sweet Emma Grace made her entrance into the world July 25. She is already 17 days old. I can not believe it. She is such a beautiful baby. She is a spitting image of her daddy. LOVE! Here are two pictures. The first, is our first picture of Emma. The second is Jordyn and Emma in separate pictures. Maybe by Christmas we can get 1 picture of the girls together :). Here is to a week of Jonathan being back at work! Faith, Hope, Family, and Love. I can’...
