Slipping Through My Fingers: August 2014
http://thetnwelches.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Slipping Through My Fingers. Trying to hold on while I can to what I have at this moment. Monday, August 25, 2014. Last year the CCJHS girls' soccer team was the first public school to ever beat all the private schools in Jackson. They were pretty pumped about that feat! We hit the ground running with one of those teams as our second game of the season. That team came out firing at the beginning. We want to pause this post for you all to see THE BOW in LB's hair! That is NOT much of an exaggeration!

http://thetnwelches.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-last-lunch.html
Slipping Through My Fingers. Trying to hold on while I can to what I have at this moment. Thursday, January 1, 2015. You would think being an Air Force brat that I would be use to goodbyes. I really don't do well with goodbyes when it comes to our college kids and over the next 12 months. I will say goodbye to 4 of them. It literally breaks my heart. This last lunch involved the first 2 guys who have been with us for at least 4 years. That makes it harder. My babies - I don't know why the color is bad.

It went by so fast and, to be honest, it is really suppose to be over now. However, even though my room at school is FAR from being ready . . . Our youth group holds a Sweetheart Dinner each year around Valentine's Day for the senior members and elders of our congregation. They asked the Tweens to help with the take home for the night. I was asked to be in charge of that. So, we met up for a Saturday morning of crafting to get it done. You have left your mark on my heart! Follow Me on Pinterest!

http://thetnwelches.blogspot.com/2015/01/our-december-graduates.html
Slipping Through My Fingers. Trying to hold on while I can to what I have at this moment. Thursday, January 1, 2015. Well, December graduation is here. Which means part of my heart is leaving. I am trying to look at the positive and remember the good times. I've already cried, so I will try to contain myself during graduation. Our dear Tompkins led the prayer - I like to think that Carter gave him plenty of practice for this since he was always a favorite to the say the prayer at lunch! We are THAT Family.

I didn't think that this series could get any better, but I was wrong! This third book, The Miner's Lady. By Tracie Peterson, was a fabulous end to the series and will not disappoint!
