Big Barrel of Blogs. My informal, rant-free musings. Monday, August 29, 2005. How do you make a band-aid more burley? Wrap it in duct tape! I spent the day helping Greg hang the big tarp for Faith Quest. Today On one of the first throws I heaved with my throwing-bullet, I ripped a button-sized gash in my finger. But a band-aid and a little duct tape kept me in the game and we finished the job. Posted by Jason Hill at 11:51 PM. Click here to post or read comments. Wednesday, August 24, 2005. Essentially w...

Just a man trying to become a better Christian following Jesus and those that follow him. Monday, October 31, 2005. God things from God's people. And I guess my smart-aleck response would be Since I believe He made the whole world, He must be involved in it . OK, that was random, back to what I was saying. Here is where I saw God this past week:. Ø Allan and Jason coming into the PUMP house to do Micah Project work with big smiles on their faces. (2 computer geniuses together hmm.). I could keep going bu...

Saturday, August 30, 2008. I'd like you to meet A'Doisha, a sixteen-year-old from Portland who attends PUMP Church of Christ. This is A'Doisha's second FaithQuest. What is your spiritual gift, according to the inventory we took today? How do you see that working in your life? I don't really see it as a gift - it's just something that happens. I'm starting to see that it is something that I can use as a benefit to those around me. When it is hard to be a leader? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). FaithQu...

FaithQuest Blog: The Emotional Gamut
http://fqnw.blogspot.com/2008/08/emotional-gamet.html
Sunday, August 31, 2008. The morning came much too soon today. I know I'm getting old(er), but man, those bunks will be the death of me. Or maybe it's the chips and Snickers at midnight. I figure I'm at a teen event, so "when in Rome," right? You are beautiful beyond description. Too marvelous for words. Too wonderful for comprehension. Like nothing ever seen or heard. Who can grasp your infinite wisdom? Who can fathom the depths of your love? You are beautiful beyond description. I stand in awe of you.

FaithQuest Blog: "We'll Get There When We Get There!"
http://fqnw.blogspot.com/2008/08/well-get-there-when-we-get-there.html
Saturday, August 30, 2008. We'll Get There When We Get There! Despite what the handbook might say, Chris Goldman is not Chris Green. Chris Green looks like Donny Osmond, while Goldman resembles Keiffer Sutherland - at least according to Goldman. Chris relates himself to Mr. Incredible as a superhero. The before. So I am led to ask: What gifts have I been given by the Lord which I am not using? Do you have spiritual gifts that you are not using? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Live Blogging FQ 2008!
