Faith: The Final Frontier. We're all bastards but God loves us anyway . . . Friday, February 13, 2015. If I'm going to be a full time RVer I need to figure out if the lifestyle agrees with me. So I rented a PleasureWay Plateau FL for President's Day weekend and headed to the Oregon Coast. This is my first time driving an RV - or a rig of any size, really - and so far I am surprised by how easy it is. I'm sipping a beer as I write this and next will head out with Rudy for a long walk. So far, so good!

In recent years and I have rediscovered the joy of camping, hiking, backpacking and being in the great outdoors. My dog, Rudy, loves it too. I'm at a point my life where I want to spend more time in the outdoors. To hike more, camp more and to travel. And I want Rudy to enjoy those things with me. I take delivery on my PleasureWay Plateau XL this Saturday. And neither could Rudy.

Sunday, September 7, 2008. The Rod Is Runnin'! So most of you know that Shawn has spent the last few years getting his dad's 1931 Model A back up and running in her former glory. And with some improvements! The rumble seat and new upholstery are finally complete and today we took her out for a little spin to our new Sonic drive-in! It was pretty fun! The girls don't seem to mind the wind in the rumble seat! I guess it adds to the enjoyment! Can't beat that old-fashioned "air conditioning"!

Monday, March 17, 2008. Yep, it's true! Watch out everyone - Our own Ashley Rose Crawford passed her driver's test today and is now a bona-fide Oregon driver! She took her test this morning and had a few minor errors: apparently she bumped the curb when parallel parking, signalled too early, didn't turn into the closest lane, didn't check her blind spots enough, and stopped too far forward at a stop sign and crosswalk. Wait a minute, that's stuff I do every day! But we know she's a responsible girl!

But, as I was playing with Hank, some guy who was playing with his dog asked about Hank. Where did we get him, etc. I told him he was a Humane Society find (which ALWAYS surprises people) and that we know he was found on the side of the road in Ellensburg, not neutered or microchiped.
