Ripped Knitter: when pigs fly
http://www.rippedknitter.com/2013/04/when-pigs-fly.html
Wednesday, April 24, 2013. On Sunday, Micah and I went on a. Relaxing hiking adventure on the Peak to Pomeria portion of Palmetto Trail with a large trestle bridge overlooking the Broad River. This portion of the trail is part of the State's Rails to Trails program in which old unused train tracks are converted into nature trails for hiking. After a wonderful drive with the top down, we were met by a flying pig in the parking lot. The views of the Broad River were spectacular! View my complete profile.

Ripped Knitter: October 2013

Thursday, October 31, 2013. For some reason the hint of chill in the air (just a hint mind you, it's to be 80 degrees today), colored leaves falling from the trees, and the army of squirrels busily planting pecan trees in my flower beds for me to pull up in the Spring brings out my pumpkin-carving demon. You're thinking about cute or scary jack o' lanterns, right? Nope Here's last years attempt and I must admit it was a success. He was reelected. Or those who are impatient. Ripped Knitter: game day challenge
http://www.rippedknitter.com/2014/08/game-day-challenge.html
Friday, August 29, 2014. While my blood runneth orange with Clemson Tiger pride, I also root for the USC Gamecocks since it's my hometown team and I earned a masters degree from USC. As an avid fan of college football fan and knitting, I have challenged myself to knit two shawls using team colors while watching my favorite games. I cast on Stephen West's. I'm using the lovely Plymouth Yarn Alpaca Prima in garnet and black that I purchased for this specific purpose at Halcyon. The lovely Ginkgo Shawl.

Ripped Knitter: April 2014
http://www.rippedknitter.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 15, 2014. After such a cold, bleak winter, Spring is here bursting with color. Here are some lovely pictures from my garden. I was totally surprised by the loveliness of my first iris of the season and cannot wait to see more. The azaleas are flowering like crazy and I just love all the volunteer viola that have popped up everywhere. There little squinty faces make me smile, and let's not forget the Knockout roses. Shawl by Stephen West. Using a test color Blue Nirvana. A new year of change.

Ripped Knitter: November 2013
http://www.rippedknitter.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 14, 2013. 2 shawls in Savannah. Our 3rd annual trip to the Savannah Rock 'n' Roll Marathon was a great success. I ran the 1/2 with Doug and Joe while Micah ran the full with Elisha and Jen (their first, by the way) and it all ended in beer and a little Vitamin I. Somewhere around carb-loading, shopping, and generally having a grand ole time, I took pictures of two shawls that I'd finished and blocked a few weeks ago. First up is my Daylily Affection! Knit Picks Sunstruck Size 6 Circular.
