Built by Mussolini in 1938 for the 1939 8m World Championships, ‘Pinuccia’ was eventually taken by the Germans as ‘War spoils@ and found rotting in a barn in Norway by Hotel Tresanton’s owner Olga Polizzi. The yacht is available for use of guests at The Hotel Tresanton, St Mawes and is skippered by couple Ted and Stella. I spent a couple of hours photographing her in The Carrick Roads and off St Anthony’s Head for Falmouth Boat Co. Who have just finished a major refit and paint job.
