Thursday, April 9, 2009. Last week I ran in the Austin American Statesman Capitol 10k. It is quite an event, with somewhere around 17,000 runners and some very entertaining costumes (this year's 2nd place costume winner was a "running nose", not to mention the 1st place "tree-huggers"). Friday, March 20, 2009. Since I didn't travel this spring break, I've been able to do things in Austin that I normally don't have time for (or am too tired to do after a week of teaching! Running at Town Lake in the middle of the day, trying a local juice/smoothie shop. And of course, I set up a blog this week. Life as we know it". The roller coaster ride of raising girls! Friday, January 23, 2009. Well, it looks like we will have the girls anytime now! The doctor says that he is proud that we have made it to the 35 week mark! We had an ultrasound today and Madison and McKinley are doing great. Maddie weighs about 4 lb 7 oz and Kinley. Loved giving birth to Hannah. I felt like a champion, it was such wonderful feeling for me! I will keep you all posted! Monday, January 19, 2009. Madison and McKinley's room.
