My dentist is off the whole weekend and on fridays.the wire is poking me, i cant bend it, or put wax cause it comes off, my cheel skin is peeling and everytime i move my mouth it hurts! Friday, May 21, 2010. I just got my braces put on a few days ago and they didnt hurt the first day but now they are killing me and have since the day after i got them put on what should i do? And how long will they hurt? Also, follow the orthodontists' instructions EXACTLY while the braces are on and even after they are removed to ensure the success of the braces. Trust me I know from experience. I had braces on my teeth for three years and now my teeth and smile are beautiful! Brush your teeth very well!

Friday, May 21, 2010. The overbite is normal. It is a common misconception among patients that top and bottom teeth are supposed to edge to edge. But that is the least desirable bite. When you hit edge to edge, you tend wear the teeth down and that may cause your joint problems. I think you are wearing rubber bands to correct your bite (i.e to move your teeth forward or backward). Friday, May 21, 2010. I got my braces last friday and they're still sore. how long will it be till i can eat the foods i want to? My aunt thinks they're sore still cuz i haven't tried to eat wit them. is that why? NO but it will help when i got braces i was sore 4 like4 or 5 days and even when Ur not sore it will come back every now and then but eating will help a little.
