Pastor Daniel’s electric personality radiates a genuine love for God and passion to be Christ like. I love the praise team, which gets you motived to worship. The preaching is very enjoyable and informative. He teaches ways to apply it to your life. You leave a service inspired. I am glad God lead us to this church. About My Book | 2 Timothy 2:2
https://danielgoepfrich.wordpress.com/about-my-book
Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage: Fresh Help and Hope from the Bible. Published 2007 by Xulon Press. Available on Amazon.com. How this book came about. In the summer of 1994 I took a college course on the Gospel of Matthew. At the outset of the class, our professor said that the bulk of the class grade would come from eight papers that we had to write that summer on various pre-selected topics out of Matthew. But there was something about it that I could not let go. During the course of my study for...

Listen, Day 7: Mark 7-11 | 2 Timothy 2:2

Listen, Day 7: Mark 7-11. September 21, 2008 at 3:05 pm Posted in OTCC. These are our family thoughts for the Listen. The disciples didn’t know what God meant when he said he would die and rise again in 3 days. It’s useless to worship God. When we are following human religious traditions. Long before the Old Testament law was put out of commission, Jesus said that all foods are fit to eat. Why did this healing. Take two steps instead of just one? So, when did Jesus pray about it? Before we can pray to God.

Listen, Day 8: Mark 12-16. September 21, 2008 at 5:46 pm Posted in OTCC. More thoughts from our family. Josh’s daughter): One guy ran away without his clothes. They didn’t have to sell the perfume to give money to the poor. If they cared that much, they should have just given their money. Would Peter’s story have changed if he had stayed awake and prayed. In the garden instead of sleeping? God is not the God of the dead but of the living. I wonder what it was that caused Judas to finally turn in Jesus.

Listen, Day 5: Matthew 25-28 | 2 Timothy 2:2

Listen, Day 5: Matthew 25-28. September 19, 2008 at 3:04 pm Posted in OTCC. Somehow we missed chapter 24 on Wednesday, so this actually covers chapters 24-28. Jesus said he was going to blow up a city. A disciple asked for Jesus’ body to bury it. Jesus said he would break down the temple and rebuild it in three days, but he was talking about his body. They said they would nail Jesus to a cross. They took off all his clothes. After the gospel has been preached all over the world, the end will come. How ma...

Listen, Day 4: Matthew 19-24. September 18, 2008 at 1:10 pm Posted in OTCC. Here are our family thoughts from Wednesday’s listening. Had never noticed Matthew 19:12 referencing eunuchs by force verses eunuchs by choice as a physical issue. In chapter 23, Jesus attributed all of those murders to the Pharisees of that generation? 8211; twice Jesus said that the first would be last and the last first. Dan’l (these are getting longer):. In the account of the rich young ruler. The Lord would need his donkeys.

Listen, Day 6: Mark 1-6. September 20, 2008 at 12:55 pm Posted in OTCC. Here are our family thoughts on Sept 19 listening. Did everyone see heaven open and hear God. Why didn’t Mark mention Peter walking on the water. Note: I have my answer. Anyone else want to share a thought? 8211; Dan’l). Jesus and the disciples used a boat a lot, and they wanted to be alone several times. Instead of just having the people sit down, they put them in groups of 100s and 50s. Jesus quoted Isaiah 6:9-10. So, what did they...
