There are characteristics endowed to children for the sole purpose of longevity. if children did not possess such qualities, their parents would certainly murder them in an uncontrolled fit of frustration. my children are no exception. The world seems right and morphing closer to the eventual earthly kingdom we all long for when i view the world through the irises of my two little boys. Great post, renee!

Saturday, June 6, 2009. While on this hike, we experienced fantastic weather! Thunder and lightening with consistant light rain. It felt good to be back on the trail despite conditions. Will was protected as you can see, by a solid rain cover. He seemed to enjoy the adventure as much as we did between naps. Aspen trees are such a delight! Our driveway turned into one enormous puddle - the water was over Keith and Kate's feet. They had a blast playing in it tonight! Thursday, July 23, 2009. This year on vacation was no different. It was the third time we have made this particular trip and we are still discovering new and amazing things that we have not seen before. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. The turnout wasn't what we hoped for, but Keith and Kate sure looked GREAT! We had a lot of fun watching the championship with Papa. However, my five year old helped me put things in perspective. When I told him that our sooners had lost and that I thought it was pretty stinky - he said, "Mom, it will be okay. There will be lots more sooner games." He is right! That's precious. . .and I'm so glad God uses our kids for that reason too! Kenzi loves seeing the pictures of Keith!

Friday, January 16, 2009. Keith and his cousins put on a talent show for us when we were in Houston visiting Aunt Dena and her family. It was adorable. Keith's part of the show was saying his favorite Bible verse, John 3:16 and singing Jesus Loves Me. It was so precious. His sweet voice and his tender heart amaze me. He is truly a special boy! I missed Kate's part of the show - it was over so quick. She was so funny. Wow! God's goodness to us is overwhelming. What a sweet memory to always have!
