Saturday, December 26, 2009. At Home With Jesus. Today at 12:15 pm our sweet boy, David Allen Kennedy, went home to be with the Lord. His body just could not take the trauma and all of his organs started to fail. It has been a very hard day. please keep our family in your prayers. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. April 29th, 2009. I refuse to nag him about what he should be doing, he knows what he needs to be doing, he is choosing not to do it. At least he is honest with the doctors when they ask. So please pray for him to have a change of heart and to want to rehab his body and life. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Family Day Oh Happy Day. Today was a really good day for David! He stuck to the deal we made yesterday and he got up and walked 4 times today! I am so proud of him! One more thing, I have some emails regarding a phone number for Dave. Since he is still in the ICU there isn't a phone in there and cell phones aren't allowed in that room either. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. March 31st, 2009. Test results are back and for the most part they are pretty good! The V/Q scan came back totally negative and he doesn't have any blood clots, so this was the first part of the good news! So our prayers are this, a new heart quickly, for him to be able to survive the surgery as he is so weak, and for him to recover after transplant, he is much weaker this time around.
