Sunday, November 21, 2010. Hi All, this week on Wednesday was my birthday. I turned 3 years old. Mom and dad came early in the morning and celebrated me. Cake first thing when you wake up? Saturday, December 17, 2011. This week on Tuesday it was December 13, the day of Lucia! Lucia is celebrated in Sweden. She is the queen of light that comes with gingerbread cookies and "lussebullar" to everyone, and she sings beautifully. My aunt Sara had sent me the Lucia crown and outfit and I was so excited that I had tried it on every night for about a week before the day of Lucia. In my room I have a little Christmas city that is placed on top of my bookshelf. It's just the right height for me.

Friday, November 25, 2011. Yesterday was Thanksgiving. I had to tell mom and dad all the things we HAD to have on the table. I had learnt exactly what you should eat at Thanksgiving at my daycare, but since mom and dad are not originally from the States they seemed to keep on forgetting some of the stuff! We had to go back to the store an extra time to pick up the cornbread. Now, what Thanksgiving would it be without cornbread? Now, what would you two do without me, mom and dad? Visit to the John Ball Zoo.

Saturday, January 14, 2012. I know it's already middle of January, but I haven't had a chance to tell you all about my Christmas before. We had a really beautiful tree this year. Mom and I decorated it together. We also had a little white wooden tree on our dining room table that we bought this summer when we were in Stockholm. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. A visit to Meijer Gardens. This past Saturday mom, dad and I went to Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids because we wanted to watch the butterfly exhibition they have there right now. The building looks like a giant green house from the outside, very pretty. Inside they have all kinds of strange plants. And big palm trees. It almost looks like a small jungle! Dad and I looked at the butterflies flying by. They were so tame, not at all afraid of us. Just look at this beautiful butterfly.

Sunday, May 30, 2010. Glass is stora lass! Loads of ice cream! I love ice cream! Fortunately we have an ice cream shop within walking distance. It's very popular so oftentimes there is a long line, but today we didn't have to wait. We brought the ice cream home and enjoyed it in our backyard. Mmmm, summer is great! Summer is here my friends! The food is not bad either. Dad had a pizza. And mom a yummy sallad. Look at that composition! I got a plastic pool last week that I use on the patio. I love it!

Saturday, December 17, 2011. On December 3rd I had my birthday party. It was a couple of weeks after my actual birthday but I wanted to have it at a gym (Gymco) and it wasn't available on my birthday. All my friends loved playing with me and the teacher in the gym! Here I am balancing. I'm very good at that! Balancing again, this time with pom-poms. Following right behind me is my friend Charlotte. She is good at balancing too. All my friends also enjoyed the meal. It was a very memorable day.

Tuesday, July 13, 2010. My aunt Sara, uncle Steven, Ebba and Inez came to visit from Sweden at the end of June. I was soooo excited to have Ebba and Inez to play with! Although Grand Rapids is new to us, we wanted to show them as much as possible of our new city in the 2 weeks that they were here. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Snow, snow, snow. Grand Raids is snowy and cold. It feels like we already have had winter for a very long time, but mom says there is still many more weeks left of winter before the Spring will get here. I don't mind though.
