In adults it just presents as a bad cold coupled with laryngitis. Nifty. We missed the family gathering to stay home with our germs. She got the flu right before Christmas, so no quick visit to the grandparents. I think her immune system is rebuilding after surgery. The MRI also showed osteonecrosis in the distal 2nd metatarsal. Yes, kids. You read that right. Bone death. Insert thrashing around in a toddler-worthy temper-tantrum.
