Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Tomorrow is the last day in August! This summer has flown by, and I am so glad the Fall Season is upon us. Aside from Spring, Fall is one of my favorite seasons! Love the crisp air, colorful leaves, and football! Brody's favorite activities in school are P.E., music class, math, and doing projects (cutting, pasting, coloring). Saturday, December 31, 2011. Christmas 2011 in Pictures. Jodi and I decided to go to NYC while I was up visiting. We drove in to the city and stayed overnight. It was so neat to be there for Christmas. I have been the NYC a few times, once including when Jodi marched in the Macy's Parade at Thanksgiving 20 years ago. Sunday, January 15, 2012. Raegan got her first haircut this week! I was so hesitant to get it done. Her hair is long, and we love it. It's beautiful and suits her. But, the ends were looking a bit drab, so they just needed a tiny snip. My hairdresser was so kind to do it. Raegan did really well! She was actually very serious during the whole thing. I think she was waiting for it to hurt, but of course it never did. My sweet girl is so precious! After her haircut, she thought she looked like Rapunzel!

Monday, December 12, 2011. Yesterday, we visited Lexington Green in hopes of seeing Santa Claus. Brody was excited, but we decided not to tell Raegan our reason for the outing. She is not fond of Santa, or any character for that matter. So we thought we'd surprise her! Maybe next year she will be brave enough to sit on his lap! Love capturing these memories. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Vacation on Fripp Island, SC. We had a wonderful beach vacation this summer at Fripp Island, SC. The island is close to Beaufort and Hilton Head. We had never been before, but would definitely go again, hopefully next year! It is a beautiful, gated island. The beaches were gorgeous and very private. Friday, October 28, 2011. Wow, it's been a long time since I've updated the blog! Two months worth of activity in this house is too much writing, so I'll just get you up to speed in pictures. Raegan loves to get pedicures with Mommy! Raegan goes to dance class every week and loves it! Brody played soccer this fall. He continues to love it and has really improved since last spring! Friday, March 25, 2011. We are in the midst of March Madness, and UK is on a roll! They made it to the Sweet 16, tonight play #1 overall seed Ohio State. It's going to be a heck of a game, but I have faith in our Big Blue! I had to be so dorky! It was back in 1996, so there were awesome players: Ron Mercer, Dereck Anderson, Wayne Turner.
