http://fancy-bakery.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
This is a Blog of the food in my life! Monday, 23 June 2014. Often there isn't any bread left in the house and I'm not keen on cereals so I whip up these small fluffy pancakes for breakfast. They are so easy and lovely with a few frozen berries sprinkled on before flipping over. I have tried so many different recipes for these pancakes and decided to make my own version which I must say worked perfect this morning. I use a mug for the measurements:. Half a mug buttermilk. Half a mug milk. Boil the spaghe...

FANCY BAKERY: chicken & ham pie
http://fancy-bakery.blogspot.com/2014/10/chicken-ham-pie.html
This is a Blog of the food in my life! Sunday, 12 October 2014. Chicken and ham pie. I love it when the season changes and the cold dark nights draw in. It means heavy comfort dinners, lots of pastry, mash and vegetables. I have been making this pie for a few years now, and surprisingly its one of the dinners that everyone in my family likes. Saying that there are a few different requirements, but this pie meets them all. Samuel likes the pastry on the bottom of the pie because its softer (but not soggy!

This is a Blog of the food in my life! Monday, 26 May 2014. Olive Oil Orange Cake. I always like to test a quick recipe, I feel the need to whip one up and squeeze one in each day. I had some oranges sitting in my fruit bowl and am always keen to find new dairy free cake ideas. This Olive Oil Orange Cake looked interesting and very simple. Olive Oil 1/3 Cup. Plain Flour 2 Cups. Baking powder 1.5 tsp. Bicarbonate of Soda 0.5 tsp. Caster Sugar 1.5 Cups. 9 inch round tin oiled and lined. Post a comment (2).

FANCY BAKERY: July 2014
http://fancy-bakery.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
This is a Blog of the food in my life! Monday, 14 July 2014. I love cherries, so shiny, tender and sweet. Last season I was contacted by a lovely lady called Liz Mount who owns an English Cherry Farm in Aspley Guise Milton Keynes. Liz asked if I would bake her a cherry cake for a photographic shoot for their new website. She dropped off a lovely stash of cherries to my bakery. The resulting cake looked amazing and is now on their website. Simmer gently over a low heat until thick and reduced. Spread half...
