I thought I would try and get some nice photos of the 'super moon' this evening. It was just around for a couple of nights and the sky looked nice and clear. A goldfinch in the garden on Saturday. A heron wandering around the paddock - this was taken from my window a good 100yds away. I always enjoy trips to St Albans and today's was no exception. AT took me to The Wicked Lady, one of the best restaurants I've frequented for simple fare, where we managed to make three courses last over three hours! I can't believe it's nearly 15 years since I first published materials on-line at The Studyzone. Now there's piles of stuff, the most recent being to help students doing National Diploma units. In IT, notes. And links for web design. There's a whole lot more if you look around and no doubt it will continue to grow as I get given new courses and units to deliver or, more likely, old ones need to be brought up to date as technology moves apace! I am also part of the Technology in Education network.

While I'm updating the site you can access the old one here. This site is for students, tutors and anyone looking for information about using ICT. Whereas once all the notes were about Microsoft Office programmes, now there are excellent web2.0 alternatives for creating, storing, publishing and sharing materials which I'll be using more. The webtools. Site has a good selection and examples of some in use. I have finally got round to adding some notes on w3c standards. And up-to-date system security.
