Sunday, August 2, 2015. Saturday is Temple Day. It was a wonderful day at the temple. It was my first time doing initiatories, and I was quite nervous, but it went very well. It helps that not everything has to be memorized. Everyone at the temple is so kind and thoughtful - it's like a mantra. There were 21 weddings during the day; can you imagine? Wednesday, August 5, 2015. I woke up quite early and just stayed up. There were dishes to clean up and books to read and finances to figure out. Fae brought her kids over for Sydney's lesson just before noon. We had a good lesson. She's just on the verge of playing real songs. But we'll have to suspend lessons for the next couple of weeks because of the F. H. Workshop next and Education Week the following week. And then school starts! Could summer really be almost over? Thursday, April 30, 2015. Travel - Two Days for the Price of One! That first flight was about 4 hours and we were the outside two people on a three-people row by the window. They served us breakfast and later some snacks. That flight from Nerita to Seattle was about 9 hours long, and after we ate dinner we watched movies and tried to sleep. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. While serving in the temple on Thursday I started to feel some symptoms of a cold coming on. My throat was a little sore and I started sniffing. I had no vitamin C with me and there was nothing I could do to forestall the cold. Then the rain hit, and it was like bullets, and so cold! Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Leisurely Day for Me. Reading the current book, watching TV, what a life! I'm trying to do my hand exercises and I can feel a little improvement in the flexibility. Acell is making good progress in the hallway/entryway. While the mud dries he watches the Tour de France. He had a meeting in the evening and while he was gone I watched Season 13 of Project Runway. I'm sure enjoying it. So we're connected to that again! I'm feeling quite proud and cocky! The Brace is Officially Off!

Friday, August 28, 2015. I also did some family history and read and cleaned and watched some TV. Not a very exciting day, but nice. Acell has changed the polishing room into a storage closet with lots of shelves. He's also working at cleaning and sorting in the shop, which is a HUGE HUGE job. Thursday, August 27, 2015. I had an appointment for a haircut at 9 am, but when I got there, she'd made the appointment for Thursday. But she took me anyway, and I was so glad to get my hair cut! It won't be easy!

Monday, March 30, 2015. We went to the office and were working on various projects, then Acell heard from Bishop Javier, saying that they had some apartments for us to look at. I don't remember if I mentioned the other day that the landlord for the apartment that we had and lost and had again had changed their mind yet again and told us we couldn't have it. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Settling Into a Routine in Piano Lessons. I taught 5 lessons today, and it worked out pretty well. I taught Maureen, Christine, Jewel, Kenzie and Nephi. They all did quite well and are progressing. One of my students, Francez, dropped out this week because she said she didn't have time. She and I were both pretty sad about it and she had to return her keyboard and book. Next week I have four of them committed to play. It's still kind of early so maybe I'll go read for a bit.
