First we jumped on a bus and headed for The Stratosphere, this is one of the best places in town for views of Las Vegas but as you’ve probably already guessed I was here for the rides! Monday, 21 January 2013. I love you Chunk. Waking up in Monterey Bay the weather was still quite cool, the hotel breakfast was very basic, coffee and fruit hoops! Visit to the aquarium this morning was well worth it, putting our Sea Life Centres to shame, the shark and jellyfish tanks were amazing and the staff were all very helpful and happy to be working there. There was no breakfast included with our Best Western hotel in Santa Barbara but luckily we found the traditional American diner next door, so after a really good breakfast we set sail for Santa Monica and for the first time we didn’t need to put the heater on in the Mustang.
