Following 5 Sprint triathlons this spring and 3 months of doing nothing I suffered IT Band pain on restarting. Peter my Physio said that I'd restarted too fast and had gives me his "cautious conservative" back to fitness program. Here is one on my runs in the second week of the program . So welcome to the world of endurance sport! Here it is, second run of 7 reps of one minute.

First major event out of the county called for a visit to the Grendon Triathlon held just south on Northampton. This was a qualifier sprint event organised and run by www.justracinguk.com. For the European event for next year. We arrived in the area on the Saturday afternoon before the event and during the course walk of the run we found the ideal camera vehicle. Monday, 6 May 2013.

Orwell Bridge Park cross country event, 10km round woods and hills. Phew, that was a toughie. Perfect weather for a run round an undulating varied course with a couple of stiff hills, under the Orwell Bridge as the container traffic thundered overhead and running along the river's edge.
