Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Maddie's 2nd Bday June 2010. To celebrate Maddie's 2nd birthday we went to the downtown park and played in the fountains. All of the kids had a great time and got nice and wet! It was very hot that day, so it was the perfect day for a water party! Happy 2nd Bday Maddie! Thursday, December 23, 2010. We always have lots of stops on Halloween so we started early. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Yokum's, Gran and Papa Stroud's, Grandma and Grandpa Wards, Grandma's and Uncle Todd and Aunt Katie's houses. Thursday, December 23, 2010. Blake James is a 2 year old! Blake turned 2 and I can hardly believe that 2 years have gone by. It seems just like yesterday we were bringing this tiny baby home from the hospital. My how things have changed! He's no longer tiny and he's CONSTANTLY on the move! My how we love this little boy! He can use a lot of words now, he runs everywhere, he can kick a ball, hit a ball with a bat, throw farther than his Daddy (just kidding), and demand a room's attention in no time flat!

Thursday, December 23, 2010. One beautiful Saturday afternoon we took Blake to Watson Park. Dylan and I both went to this park as children. It has a train (Blake's favorite), paddleboats, horse rides, and a putt-putt course. It's also a big beautiful park with lots of fun play equipment. We had a great time. Sunday, December 28, 2008. Growing up everyone came to Grandma's house for Christmas. We had a blast singing Christmas carols, playing with our new toys, and as we got older modeling our new clothes. I look back on my childhood fondly. I miss those days of everyone being in Grandma's basement opening up gifts. If we were to try this now (with the growing families) we would have somewhere around 36 people at Grandma's house! It would certainly be crazy! Monday, December 22, 2008. The power of prayer.

Saturday, January 16, 2010. Blake is a Shocker Fan! We took B to his first Shocker game a while ago. He had a great time rockin out to the music and yelling with the crowd. Who cares that everyone else was yelling at the refs and he was just yelling "Ball! The people around us enjoyed him, and he of course demanded everyone's attention. It was a fun time. Tuesday, February 9, 2010. A milk spilled in my bag on Sunday and I'm pretty sure my camera is toast, so no new pics for now. We took Blake sledding for the first time a couple of weeks ago with Todd, Katie, and the Raads. He seemed to enjoy it. Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, or maybe Tony Romo. Ok, so we are jumping the gun a little bit:) Blake's favorite thing to do right now is throw a ball. Today he learned to catch it too! He traps it between his chest and his hands, but he can do it. He's an awesome kid!
