The weaving journey began for me in the 1970's when a friend invited me to take a class from a local weaver on a rented table loom. After the first three lessons I was so bitten by the "weaving bug", I bought a Harrisville 22" floor loom kit. Table linens, scarves and the occasional ruana came to life from that loom. Involvement with the New Hampshire Weaver's Guild serves as an opportunity to meet other weavers from New England, learn different weaving techniques and explore the history of the craft.

What was once a wood shed is now an inspirational weaving studio. A large southern window offers a four-season view of pasture, woodland and hills and lots of natural light for weaving on the Macomber 36" 4 shaft loom. The northern wall, clad in the original barn boards from the sheep barn provides a historic backdrop for the original Harrisville loom and a large Macomber 48" 8-shaft loom. For sampling and teaching there are two table looms an inkle loom. and a hand held sampler board.
