My blog. trip reports, videos, everything. (mostly). Friday, August 18, 2006. 5 days of power bars for 5 people in 2 bear cans. Start of the backpacking trip. Hiking up to Bishop Pass (11k ft). Full load. The carrying gang. Notice how they are still smiling at that point (especially 2nd from R which is me). Rocks, rocks, patches of snow, rare vegetation and rocks. Pure moment of meditation. (minus the bugs). Okay Maybe they prefer dreaming about their future climbs. Looking South into LeConte canyon.

During the winter my dad and i drive up to the sierras and go backcountry-skiing all around tahoe or in the lakes around it! Cool, but I don't look much different on the outside but inside i feel SO much more mature. After much consideration on my parent's part, they bought me a loaded pintail longboard.
