We have acquired a limited quantity of various LeCroy custom chips that were used in LRS instruments. These include the MTD133b (and variants), MQT300a, MIQ401 and a few others. We can supply small quantities of these chips at prices comparable to the most recent LeCroy prices. The current supply is finite, but some designs could be resurrected if demand requires. EZCamac version 2.2, July 22, 2010. As a learning and debugging tool, it allows the user to experiment with blocks of commands and with the list processor without having to write a special host program. Everything can be done with EZCamac and a simple text file. EZCamac handles the CMC100 and its' USB interface, the user only has to know his Camac modules. The system is completely driven by a text file of commands, absolutely no computer programming is required. The EZCamac V2 Manual (pdf file, 87k).

The first spectrum used a LeCroy 2249w Camac ADC. This uses a Wilkinson type converter with a 20 MHz clock. It has a dead time of about 110 microseconds and 11 bits of resolution. The DNL is very good, esentially undetectable. Note the complete absence of DNL in the spectrum.
