Mrs. W's Math-Connection: July 2012

Tuesday, July 31, 2012. A BIG project to end our year. Wow, I can't believe it's time to start back to school already! We had a really crazy end to our year with 3 schools closing and lots of teachers moving around. Thankfully, I didn't have to move this year, but there was still plenty going on and I completely forgot to blog about our last BIG project. Sadly, it also ended up being my last project as a seventh grade teacher since I'm getting moved to full-time eighth grade for the new year. Tales of Fr...

Friday, December 30, 2011. Middle and High School Blog Party. Told me about the middle and high school blog party, I was all in. When I first started blogging, I was feeling a bit left out. There are SO many adorable blogs for K-3 teachers but what about the middle school teachers? It's bad enough that we have to deal with the hormonal changes but now we can't get any love in blogland? I couldn't deal. I was having a Veruca Salt. Ok, it wasn't that serious, but still! Posted by Miss P. Today I'm linking ...

Thoughts and Ramblings of a Future Educator. Let’s talk about math! And then there was silence… →. We need to have a talk…. February 23, 2014. Thoughts and Ramblings of a Future Educator. This week in our math class, we were encouraged to draft a letter to parents explaining the new unit we would be teaching their students. It got me thinking about ways in which I can and should be connecting to parents and how this will look as I become more entrenched into the professional world of education. I have se...

http://mrswsmathconnection.blogspot.com/2012/09/storage-for-supplies.html

However, for things like glue sticks, tape, dry erase markers, and scissors, I was getting tired of passing them out because we use them everyday. In our notebooks. I don't have tables in my room. I don't even have desks that can really be grouped. So, I got creative! A trip to Home Depot later, and here is what I had. September 9, 2015 at 8:18 AM. Interactive online math homework help.
