Don't trust the Indian Media!: February 2010
http://presstalk.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Don't trust the Indian Media! You don't want the enmity of my friendship! Thursday, February 18, 2010. I don't think that will stop the Chinese from eating fewer tigers though. The best solution would be for Indian conservationists buying Indian Viagra substitutes and sending them to China. After all, ground tiger bones are consumed because the Chinese want boners right? Don't they get them when they see Ziyi Zhang? But, you get my point I hope. Maybe. Links to this post. Tuesday, February 16, 2010.

Don't trust the Indian Media!: April 2010
http://presstalk.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Don't trust the Indian Media! You don't want the enmity of my friendship! Friday, April 09, 2010. My Executive Editor mentioned the blog in the edit meeting in a nice way and over the past few days I have received quite a few calls asking me why I stopped writing. Frankly, no reasons, I just needed a break from writing the blog. I honestly believe that sometimes maintaining the blog is more trouble than it is worth, I mean I'm not exactly raking in megadollars in advertising revenues am I?

Don't trust the Indian Media!: Tapey-Tapey tape tape
http://presstalk.blogspot.com/2010/12/tapey-tapey-tape-tape.html
Don't trust the Indian Media! You don't want the enmity of my friendship! Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Someone sent me an SMS the other day, saying why hasn't K said anything about the 'Tapes' and the 'Fall of Journalism'. Given that this blog has a title like this, I thought I should say something but after that twat Avirook 'exposed' himself making me collateral damage in the process, it would seem petty to write a post. That several young reporters have a lack of confidence in their language is one thi...

Reflections of a Newsosaur: Why media must charge for web content
http://newsosaur.blogspot.com/2009/03/why-media-must-charge-for-web-content.html
Reflections of a Newsosaur. Musings (and occasional urgent warnings) of a veteran media executive, who fears our news-gathering companies are stumbling to extinction. Sunday, March 01, 2009. Why media must charge for web content. First of two parts. Desperate to pump fresh revenues into their struggling businesses, Hearst Corp. and Newsday said last week that they intend to start charging for at least some of the content on their websites. Judging from the terseness of the announcements. Because I have n...

Don't trust the Indian Media!: Quick Note
http://presstalk.blogspot.com/2010/10/quick-note.html
Don't trust the Indian Media! You don't want the enmity of my friendship! Monday, October 18, 2010. Since I have been formally outed in a rather snarky 'My moral (and monetary) victory' article by Avirook in Open. I read the 'article' as one person desperate to promote his new 'book' and a magazine desperate for people to pick up a few copies, but honestly I really don't have much to say. So you may well ask why on earth am I writing this then? Abhi 2.0 said. As for revenge, my question is Why?

Blue Screen Of Duds. Where the alter ego of codelust plays. WordPress.com, growth, issues and the road ahead. What we have here today is Matt Mullenweg. Who runs the entire WordPress show via Automattic, making good on his promise. And answering a couple of pesky questions I had for him regarding WordPress.com. For content caching and rough numbers regarding usage in India, which is by far the highest I’ve ever seen anywhere. And that too on my blog. Strange to see how the tables have turned. 1) How big ...
