The Adventures of the Faterkowski Family: November 2014
http://faterkowskifamily.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 29, 2014. Emerson loved practicing and performing her Veteran's Day song for us. The program at school was changed from outside to inside due to the weather so we were not allowed to attend due to fire code. Both kids were dressed and ready to sing on that day! Landon not as much as he is not our performer like Emerson. We are going to try a choir program in the spring for her called Texas Stars Youth Choir that I know she will love. So far, so good! And December is more of the same!

Saturday, February 28, 2015. Jason's Trip to Japan. Of course flying in business class made things more enjoyable.5 course meals, wine, etc! Thank goodness for Skype as we talked to him face to face 2-3 times a day as well as texting, e-mail, and cell phones. We had to work out a routine with Japan being 15 hours ahead of us but we fell into a good routine that worked. So glad for technology. Japanese garden at his hotel. Everywhere was super clean and well taken care of. Mount Fugi from the plane. 5 Day...

Thursday, October 30, 2014. The kid's school had their annual big fundraiser, Boosterthon, on a nice cool morning. Emerson ran first and she completed 33 of the 35 laps. She decided to socialize with her friend Anna and a group of boys (she is on a first name basis with every boy at school and on our street! We got a lot of great pictures between the three of us! Landon's race was up next and he ran all 35 laps straight through with no water breaks or slowing down. All serious business! I am married to t...

Monday, August 31, 2015. First Day of 2nd and 4th Grade! I know I say this at the beginning of every school year, but boy does the time fly by. When the kids were babies the thought of elementary school seemed SO far off in the distant future. And now middle school will be here for Landon before we know it. Yikes, I think I'm going to just go crawl under a rock now and never come out! After school Emerson decided that Piggy needed some math homework! Thursday, August 27, 2015. We also crammed in a visit ...

Wednesday, April 30, 2014. At last Thursday's pack meeting we had the Raingutter Regatta after our den did the opening flag ceremony. It wasn't a huge production like the Pinewood Derby but the kids had fun. Landon raced his about 4 times and then Jason and our den leader Minh raced against each other, which was pretty comical. Grandpa came to watch too after we ate dinner with them. I got a new phone (5s) and all of my iphone pictures are showing up this size. Anyone know why or how to fix it? Julie's F...

Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Landon enjoyed visiting with the IT guys, chatting and asking questions about drones, and watching them fly a $6,000 fancy drone over the facility for video. Pretty cool stuff! It was a busy and crazy day for Jason, but a success. He spent the next week doing damage control though and of course the never ending construction on the other phases still not complete. Fingers crossed they are as successful as expected and predicted by Japan and the media! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
