The joys and challenges on the journey of fatherhood. After two tries with Clomid. We also used Ovidrel. Similar to the Clomid-assisted cycles, to induce ovulation. The gonadotropin drug we used is Gonal-F. Ultrasound Monitoring and Estrogen Level Testing. Ultrasound monitoring and estradiol level testing is very important when using gonadotropins, because there is a risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome. At 10 days post-transfer, today we had the blood pregnancy test…which was positive! Truth be told, we actually did a home pregnancy test (HPT) last night, which showed the two joyful pink lines! This is for the new fathers out there, and the old ones too. Taking it back to the Old Skool. August 8, 2016. There is never a boring week when bringing up a toddler but this week has been as run-of-the-mill as you could hope to have. Daddy has clearly not been flavour of the month. We had a boys day on Sunday as mummy had a Bridal shower to attend and we gardened, ran in many Olympic races, said hello to the neighbour, got her name wrong again and wrestled. It was what men do! How good are Audio Books!
