Changing the world 1 diaper at a time. Monday, December 27, 2010. Merry Christmas to all of our dear family and friends! We hope this letter gets to you before the end of the year! Vincent is still in tech, he has enjoyed getting into a new role at work as a project Manager. Though it’s been a challenge, Vincent always knows the challenge to learn something new can only help him to grow. We are really proud of him. Joseph is in Grade 1. Eileen is homeschooling the kids. Our Happy Clan: Life is good!
http://eileenandvincent.blogspot.com/2011/01/life-is-good.html
Changing the world 1 diaper at a time. Saturday, January 29, 2011. Well our new life with Lily the North Star service dog has been quite a blessing. While still a pup at 8 monthes old, Lily has come with a lot of built in training. Some of it is natural to the temerment she was selected for from her litter, and some from her excellent trainer in Philedelphia to whom we owe much gratitude. Now a great deal of it will rest on us and the local trainer to whom we will be assigned. Third, Lily really is a bri...

Changing the world 1 diaper at a time. Thursday, February 24, 2011. Joseph and his girl. I have no words for the love developing between Joseph and his service dog Lily. We have been quiet in the blog world for some time. One word can describe these past 2 months and that word, yes "the" word in fact of the day is TRAUMA. Mama drove it home with her 20th root canal, and little boy James is right behind with his recent surgery. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). California, United States. View my complete profile.

Changing the world 1 diaper at a time. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Lily the North Star Dog. Sometime in late December or early January this little lady named "Lily" will become a new member of our family. She is a standard size poodle. In these photos she is about 19 weeks old. I will be writing a little more later to explain what Lily can do and more about the program. We are just delighted for this special blessing in our life. Happy Homeschoolers and Therese on her 3rd b-day. Wednesday, October 20, 2010.
Our Happy Clan: April 2011
http://eileenandvincent.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Changing the world 1 diaper at a time. Saturday, April 30, 2011. In Denver my Catholic Faith was deepened and many of the questions we often have about the Catholic faith were solidly put to rest. I left with a deep understanding of the rich treasures of my faith, the beauty of Catholics belief in the actual presence of our Lord in the Eucharist, and a proper understanding of Mary's role in God's plan. I knew I was in the presence of something great, something, someone very close to God. Before his death...

Changing the world 1 diaper at a time. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. November 11th, a special day indeed. Remembrance day in Canada, Veterans day in the US. Also the day we remember my (Eileen's) Grandpa Frank Carson who died in 1948 in Alberta and left Grandma behind to raise 8 beautiful kids, including Mom who was only 3 at the time. It's always been special to me personally. He was born at 11:10 pm on 11/11/05. James has had more trips to the hospital on average than any of our children, we fell that ...

Sunday, August 2, 2015. The Matrix and the Bread of Life". I want to start off with the complaint of the people in Exodus because this quote encapsulates the problem of religion. Religion offers the idea of. The Promised Land,. But when that promise comes at a time of deep suffering and pain, we react in anger and even resentment. Would that we had died at the LORD. S hand in the land of Egypt, as we sat by our fleshpots and ate our fill of bread! Eating out of their fleshpots. Fill of their bread. You w...
