Thursday, June 11, 2009. The Friends who have been a blessing to us! Tomorrow will be one year since the day of our precious daughter Abigail Hannah's death, and going to see our Lord Jesus Christ. I wanted to recognize some of our friends who have blessed us with beautiful cards, and I believe there are many others who have been praying for us. I will try to post on Abby's story this side of heaven and what it has been like for us in this past year. The Hilland family for their love, prayer and support.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Look at what God has done, instead of what I think He hasn't done! Look at His goodness to us! God my Father has been with me, with us through all three trials that we have faced, though it has been dark and hard to see Him at times. He carried us through Abby's death and funeral, surrounded us with our church body! He gave me peace to trust Him and let my dad "go" on his deathbed after being on a ventilator for a month at the hospital, just 4 months after Abby had passed away.

Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Wish I were better with words. I have been reading differnet blogs tonight and reading about Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which was Abby's condition. I read three stories of babies who survived through having a heart transplant or surgery. Two of them were diagnosed very early on, within 24 hours of birth. This was really hard for me to read, and the questions start to come. Why, why not my Abby? Why couldn't she have shown signs earlier, why couldn't we have seen this earlier?
