Monday, March 25, 2013. Mini Tutorial- "I Love U" Coin Pouch. F learned cross stitching this past summer and loved it. She made an "I Love U" piece and wanted me to incorporate it into a sewing project for grandma. Being the daughter of an engineer, my problem solving mode went auto pilot. Before I knew it, I had accepted the challenge. The project went pretty smoothly (in other words, I did not have to use my seam ripper.) Here's how I made it:. Posted by Deb Hsieh. http://tingtingmamma.blogspot.com/2012/06/babys-crinkle-hankie.html
Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Our friend Sue is having a baby boy. JJ was so excited about the coming of this baby, she asked if she could make him something out of fabric. So I gave her a piece of flannel to work with. She came back with the flannel cut into a square, saying that it was to be the baby’s hankie. So, I helped just a little to finish up this baby hankie. 1 Cut a piece of fabric the same size as the flannel as the back of the hankie. Sew the plastic to the back piece. Set aside for now. Some go...

TingTingMamMa: Back Support Pillow
http://tingtingmamma.blogspot.com/2015/01/back-support-pillow.html
Thursday, January 8, 2015. I've had back problems as early as senior year in college. My physical therapist at the time told me to put a roll of small towel under the arch of my back whenever I sit or sleep. I've been diligently following her instruction ever since (not because of discipline, but because of need). But the problem with a towel roll is.well, you guessed it, it unrolls. I found a small pillow in place of the penguins. After years of daily use, it got pretty sad. Posted by Deb Hsieh. One of ...

http://tingtingmamma.blogspot.com/2012/08/tutorial-t-shirt-refashion-new-neckline.html
Friday, August 17, 2012. Tutorial: T-shirt Refashion- New Neckline for T. When I first experienced mail shopping years and years ago, my eyes were set on this white T. A Fold the strip over to wrap the raw edge of gathered line (as a bias tape) and baste. B Stitch in place. Detachable P...

Monday, July 8, 2013. Tutoril: DIY Western Paper Bunting. When it comes to decorating a classroom for VBS week, I want something that will not take away my time preparing for the lessons, easy and cheap. To add color to the room, I thought buntings might do the trick. I've searched high and low for western themed scrapbook pages or stamps and found nothing. What to do? A: 18" x 12" Construction Paper in red, white and blue. B: Sample tiles from Home Depot (as the stamp wood mount). E: Black ink pad.
