Well it wasn’t pretty, both figuratively and literally, but it is done! 100 miles (actually 100.80)! 😉 I finished around 4:30, which put me about 7-7 1/2 hours on the bike. Average speed between 13 and 14.5. I broke my new top speed on the way back from the Lighthouse at 40.0 MPH. The cool thing is, this was exactly when I went over the picture area south of Cambria. I'm a 125kg, unfit 45yo! So I have decided to do something about it. . . by signing up to ride the Melbourne "Around the Bay in a Day" 250km bike ride! Join me on my quest to make it to the starting line on October 16th 2011, and hopefully finish the 250km!
