A middle Aged Man's Journey with VSG. From the sold out Lancaster general hospital in downtown Lancaster Pennsylvania it’s time! For someone going in for thier first ever surgery I slept good and had no issues. No nerves as of yet and hopefully it stays that way. The liquid diet does work. I am down to an official at home weight of 291.4 I will gain some back over the next few days as they pump me full of fluid. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. July 11, 2016. A middle Aged Man's Journey with VSG. Well vacation came and went. I did ok overall with eating. Before vacation I did hit a bit of a milestone. I fell below 300 for the first time in nearly 20 years. After a week of beer I was back up over that number. But that was kinda expected. A middle Aged Man's Journey with VSG. I gave up writing for a while as things at work and home were busy. I went to the required informational similar at the weight loss center. A week went by and boom, my first appointment with the surgeon. About a month has passed since then. I have been to classes and had appointments with the nutritionist and other professionals us the wlc. I have a plan and the goals are as clear as day now. April 5, 2016. April 6, 2016. He tells me this morning… Call Coastal Paddle Boards and schedule a lesson for Saturday. We will drive down Friday after work, spend the night, have a lesson, spend the day at the beach, and drive home. WHAT? Marcus says he wants me to find new joys and pleasures… so why not start now? I am a little past late trying to get my month two stats posted… but it has been a busy, busy weekend! We finally got back to the room and they were dead out! Monday, July 14, 2014. The calm before the storm. I'm 160 pounds of rock hard muscle, underneath 40 pounds of sturdy protective fat. Thursday, November 28, 2013. 203lbs.Bought a stationary bike to exercise on in the morning before work. Sounds good in theory doesn't it? Looks like me and that bike are going to get to know each other quite well. It will be here on monday and I'm going to set it up in the garage in front of the big TV. I'll keep you posted.
