Making mobile users’ lives easier with Apple Map Links. Apple is little known for making developers’ lives easier BUT I’ve just discovered something pretty neat! I find myself sometimes having to send out email newsletters with embedded links to addresses on Google maps. As we all should know, 65% of emails are opened first. And on my iPhone, for example, these links open up in Safari and load up Google Maps. Yuck! It turns out I needed to do no such thing! You can basically construct a URL like this:.
