Adventures in Point and Shoot. Thursday, October 26, 2006. Ok, so this isn't a review but I had to post this picture. My daughter Renee (#7 of 8) drew a picture of Carol and me. Carol had me take a picture to capture the moment. I used my Cannon SD400 and a bean bag to stabilize the camera (instead of a tripod). I learned this trick from a podcast I listen to called ". Tips From the Top Floor. Tips From the Top Floor. Posted by William at 1:35 PM. Thursday, October 19, 2006. Picture 1: 1/30 sec at f/3...

Adventures in Point and Shoot: March 2009
http://adventures-in-point-and-shoot.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Adventures in Point and Shoot. Saturday, March 28, 2009. My oldest daughter has been taking ballet for over 14 years and is quite good at it. Several times a year we will go to different performances and attempt to take pictures. I say attempt because the lighting is horrible for photographers. In all fairness the reason we are there is to see the dance, but wherever I go I also like to be taking pictures. Click for larger image. Posted by William at 8:56 AM. View my complete profile. Adventures in Point and Shoot: April 2009
http://adventures-in-point-and-shoot.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Adventures in Point and Shoot. Thursday, April 02, 2009. Before I got any closeups I was able to get this picture of Katelyn in a good pose as she was dancing. It can be difficult to isolate one dancer from among several on the stage at the same time. It takes tracking with the camera for the correct composition and then getting your shot, not unlike trying to catch birds in flight. Click for a larger version. Posted by William at 6:07 AM. Adventures in Point and Shoot. Friday, September 01, 2006. This will be the first post about the twins, since they love the camera and camera loves them I will probably post about them often. Last night Carol and I were snapping pictures of them. Here we have a picture of them with their backs to us. For this picture I used a flash which illuminated them but made the wall behind them darker. Camera: Canon SD 400. Posted by William at 10:01 PM. View my complete profile.
