I know what you’re thinking.Pasta with meat sauce, Kusum you're a freaking genius! How in the world did I come up with that one! But this isn't any regular meat. It's bison also known as buffalo! Yesterday I decided to take a train ride across Switzerland, from Gstaad to Klosters, to visit my dear friend Marie and her husband Johan, brother Sam and parents Monika and Bruno. You know the kind that makes you long for something hearty and warm in your belly. 4 small new potatoes, diced. 3 cups of chicken broth (or bullion). 1 teaspoon olive oil. 1 small brown onion, finely chopped. 1 large leeks (or 2 small), chopped. 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped. 2 celery stalks, chopped. 189; cup quinoa.

Because every week I find myself obsessing over something. Monday, May 4, 2009. Pink Miso and Veggies. 6 cups of water or vegetable broth. This has been my go to beverage since I was a little girl. Whenever I feel a cold or sore throat coming on make a big batch of this and sip it through out the day. My theory is that the cayenne pepper gets into your body and heats things up to burn out the bad guys. And no, this is not a master cleanse thing. Cayenne, dash or two. Ginger, large piece. Honey, 1 cup.

Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Sausage and peppers mini mac. 2 green bell peppers. Sausage links casings removed (hot or sweet/ pork or turkey. 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes. Dried basil or 10 fresh. Garlic powder or 1 minced clove garlic. 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes (optional). 1 pinch dried rosemary (optional). 1 pinch fennel seeds (optional). Sauce Cook 1 pound mini pasta. Easy way for great icing. 1 buy domino's confectioners sugar. 2 follow recipe on box. 3 substitute vanilla extract for rasberry, banana, almond, mint etc extract. 4 or add lemon/ orange jucie in stead of milk and lemon and orange rind in stead of any extract. Prep Time: 30 minBake Time: 30 min. 1 1/2 cups flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 2 sticks (8 ounces) unsalted butter, softened. 1 2/3 cups sugar, plus more for decorating. 2 tablespoons finely grated lemon peel, plus thin strips of peel for garnish. 2 large eggs plus 4 egg whites, at room temperature. One 10- to 12-ounce jar lemon curd.

The caramel buttercream was difficult to make I had to add a ton of confectioner's sugar to it because it was to light and fluffy and would have melted on the drive to Long Island.
