Home Sweet Home →. June 27, 2011 · 9:18 pm. Is there a more comforting sound during summer than the staccato of an old fashioned sprinkler watering the backyard? We have one of those sprinklers and Kate and I just love to sit and listen to the chk chk chk as it works it’s way around the yard before returning to the starting point. For us the sound takes us back to our childhood. I know you can play in the sprinkler anywhere in the world but we live in Fayetteville, which makes it that much more fun!

Yesterday, after neglecting one of Fayetteville’s most scenic spots for years, Kate and I took the family up Mount Sequoyah to watch the sunset. We got to our spot about thirty minutes before sunset and broke out the cameras.
