Sunday, December 30, 2007. Fellow Students of God's Word. Our journey through Galatians continues. Thanks for your time spent in the first chapter of Galatians and thanks, also for allowing me the privilege of sharing my thoughts on the Word. As discussed, we will continue on into Galatians 2. Please try to schedule in time daily to read the chapter. Don't forget to pray. God wants to reveal Himself. ALSO, don't be discouraged if it doesn't look like you think it should on you. Does that even make sense?

Monday, April 28, 2008. Last week, thanks to Paul, we read Galatians 4 aloud during class, and talked about various verses as we went through.those we had questions about or wanted to go deeper in to. It went pretty well, so we'll do the same thing next week with Galatians 5. To get prepared, go ahead and read Galatians 5 during the week. Here are some topics that came up during our class time last week (Galatians 4). Ponder them as you continue to read. We had two different reactions on this:. View my c...

Friday, April 18, 2008. Rob Bell, Nooma), we had some discussion about the most effective way to reach people for the kingdom of God. Although we are generally and collectively brilliant, we did not reach any definative conclusions. We did agree that God is the author and perfector of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). That is to say, that He alone can reach people. And yet, by some inexplicable means, He chooses to use each of us, His children. Solet's go higher together, as one. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. This week, take some time to go back and do one of the previous posts you haven't gotten around to yet.and if you're all caught up, well, then REST in his goodness. Sunday, we'll bounce around the heart/home thing, the gifts God's given us, Galatian thoughts and whatever else comes up. Come with ears to hear. Thursday, January 24, 2008. He never gives us something we don't need. He never gives us something we can't use. He never gives us something that's meaningless. Take a m...

Friday, March 28, 2008. In the name of all things good (like finishing strong what's been started and doing so in the Word), we continue in Galatians 3. We last considered the cross of Jesus- v1b. Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.". Having passed through the remembrance of the Passion and the celebration of the Resurrection, we walk in freedom. This is Paul's message to them.to us. WE WALK IN FREEDOM. Consider prayerfully v26-28 NIV. Clothed yourselves with Christ?

Thursday, February 28, 2008. Sois this art thing weird? Jesus has been depicted in art in many forms for centuries, but where do see Him most clearly? Have you had an undeniable encounter with Jesus Christ this week that you would be willing to share with us so that we would all be encouraged and built up? Pray for eyes to see The Unseen Reality. Wednesday, February 20, 2008. As divinely-created beings, we appreciate that which can be seen. So, take some time this week to meditate on the cross of Chr...

Friday, May 9, 2008. Since we only got through v6 last week, we're going to continue reading Galatians 5 out loud during class. On Sunday, we had a good discussion on losing salvation, stemming from v4:. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.". From there.the question was raised, can you lose your salvation? This is an old question that many people disagree about. But, here are the differing points of view that were brought up:.

Blog of First Baptist Church Goodlettsville. What We Learned in The Gospel Project January 20. January 22, 2013. This whole month we have been learning about Moses. Here’s a summary of what we’ve learned the past few weeks, tweet-style:. God called Moses out for service. He called His Son, Jesus, for a greater service: to provide salvation for all people. God used the Egyptian Pharaoh to sustain Moses’ life until God called Moses from a burning bush. And now for this week’s lesson:. God created a way for...
