Friday, October 22, 2004. Has anyone seen 'wide awake'? It's about a boy who's coping with the death of his grandfather,. And goes on a mission to find God along the way. I cried so hard in the end,. When his unconvinced friend finally told him not to give up on the mission. After having winessed a miracle. And that 7 year old boy got his epiphany,. Which just made me cry all over again. Because someone half my age could figure it all out,. And have such a beautiful ending to his 'impossible' quest.
