French Girl: Help me
http://dgisbert.blogspot.com/2008/10/help-me.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2008. God's timing is just incredible. It is quite thrilling to me when I am dealing with something - whether it be a thought or an idea or maybe even an issue in my relationships - how he brings these little sparks of confirmation. Whhaaa? You ask. You know when you are thinking about someone and then the next day their name comes up or you run into them at the store. Something like that. So why am I telling you all of this? Because this morning I got an email from someone that I do...

Thursday, February 14, 2008. Oh, I think I found a new favorite thing! It's perfect, just in time for Valentine's Day (hint hint Lover). Links to this post. Monday, February 4, 2008. He's At It Again. Sarah and I just got back from a field trip. I had called Lenny to let him know that I was on my way home. He was on his way to Home Depot. Hmmmm, I wonder. My first clue was this. The orange extension cord and the cover to the toilet tank on the floor. Hmmmmm, I wonder. Then I saw this. Links to this post.

Monday, December 31, 2007. Play Doh and Bacon Grease. You know when you do something that surprises even you, you get all giddy? Well maybe you don't but I do. Sarah was playing with some old Play Doh that was literally falling apart. I looked at the sorry mound of clay and decided to make some myself. I did and it was great. It was so easy. Here is the recipe I used:. 1/2 C salt (good thing you aren't eating the stuff). 2 tsp cream of tartar. 1 T cooking oil. Links to this post. Sunday, December 30, 2007.

French Girl: The Things People Say
http://dgisbert.blogspot.com/2008/10/things-people-say.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. The Things People Say. Another funny email from my nephew. These are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts, and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters who had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking. ATTORNEY: What gear were you in at the moment of the impact? WITNESS: Gucci sweats and Reeboks. ATTORNEY: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory at all? Your Ho...

Tuesday, September 23, 2008. One of Lenny's favorite things to ponder is "what was it like 100 years ago"? He is always asking that about all kinds of places, things and people even. We can be at Disneyland and he will say, "100 years ago this was all orange fields." or in France, "What was it like to walk the streets of Paris? Even in our own neighborhood he might contemplate what the now-major streets were like when they were just dirt or even a field. What a difference a century makes! Most women only...

Friday, November 16, 2007. We Might Be on TV. Yesterday, Dancing With the Stars was at Disneyland filming a segment for this Monday's show. Then here comes Jennie Garth escorted by Mickey Mouse. They come out, the crowds cheer, she smiles and then "cut". She is adorable. So sweet and nervous. Instantly likeable. Yes, we h...
