Amateur Radio License Exams. The Franklin County Amateur Radio Club Volunteer Examiner team conducts Amateur Radio License examination sessions on the fourth Monday of February, May, August and November. For 2016 the dates are February 22, May 23, August 22, and November 28, 2016. All exams are at 7:00 pm downstairs at the Unitarian Church on Main Street in Northfield (Routes 10 and 63, corner of Warwick Road, flashing light in center of town). Click here for a map. Welcome to the Franklin County Amateur Radio Club entry point on the Web. We will be adding more information on club events along with some extra sections in the coming weeks and months so please visit often. If you are interested in joining the club and would like to attend a meeting, the club meets on the first Monday of each month at the La Foresta Italian Cafe and Pizzeria. 203 S Brooks St. , Wake Forest, NC 27587. The meeting starts at 7pm and generally runs through to around 8pm.
