Monday, August 16, 2010. Day 5 - Work Day with the Children. Today we met at the center to help plant cabbage and erect a fence around the fish pond. This was part of the preparation for Saturday's dedication and celebration. The group came in the "grubbies" and started using muscles that they later found out they didn't know they had. Out Reach to the Street Children. Last year, the group visited the town of Kikuyu and the work that the center was doing to help. Interact with them during their meal.

We started the day together as a group, connecting, getting to know about what brought each other here and some other thoughts. We then traveled to Rafiki and our first encounter with the children.
